The location was quiet and perfect, for example, Severn Bore was not too far from the hotel. Btw, the airport was 30 km away. The staff was reasonably good & efficient. The room itself was reasonably large, beautifully presented with a classic touch and had essentials I needed.

The pub's historical charm and friendly new management made our stay enjoyable. Loved dining outdoors beside the canal with the playful guinea fowl adding a quirky touch.

Great stay with some quirks
We had a solid couple of nights here. The twin room was super comfy, and the fridge was a win for making breakfast since the pub doesn't serve it in the morning. Loved chilling on the deck by the canal, soaking in the nature vibes. Only bummer? The beer options were kinda limited. But overall, it was a nice spot.

A hidden gem for groups
Our twin room was surprisingly quiet and peaceful despite being part of a lively pub atmosphere and the refurbed bathroom was a modern and clean touch that I appreciated
It wasn't exactly a bargain but it'll do just fine

I enjoyed my stay at the Ship Inn, appreciating the cozy double room and delicious homemade meals. Poor Wi-Fi connectivity in my room hindered my work. The atmosphere was inviting, and staff were friendly.

The twin room features modern amenities, with a newly refurbished bathroom in clean shades of white and grey. Fresh milk in the fridge adds a nice touch for coffee lovers.
Although the atmosphere can be lively, the noise from the car park can disrupt the tranquility some guests might expect. The wifi connection proves erratic, often disconnecting at inconvenient moments. The lack of basic toiletries beyond a single bar of soap and very limited kitchen cutlery makes self-catering somewhat tricky. The absence of straightforward instructions for opening some doors is another inconvenience that might frustrate newcomers.

Great spot for a night out
The food was delish, especially the pizza, and everyone in our group loved it. Our room was cozy and super clean, but it could take a while to get served during busy times. Will definitely come back to enjoy the bar area!
